Spendstat’s Budget Analyzer is a calculation and analysis tool designed to help you organize and visualize your financial data. It is NOT a substitute for professional financial advice.
Any budget suggestions, recommendations, or guidelines provided by this tool (including but not limited to the 50/30/20 rule calculations) are general guidelines only and may not be appropriate for your specific financial situation. These suggestions are based on common financial principles but do not take into account your individual circumstances, goals, or risk tolerance.
The home loan calculator provides illustrative calculations only. The results shown are estimates based on the information you provide and standard loan calculation formulas. Actual loan terms, interest rates, and payment schedules may vary. You should consult with your lender or a qualified financial advisor before making any decisions regarding your mortgage or loan payments.

Bank statement and transaction analysis runs locally in your browser. Spendstat does not receive your CSV for analysis and does not keep a cloud copy of your statement or transaction rows for that purpose.
We do not require an account, and we do not collect your bank statements or transaction data for analysis on our servers. Optional site features (such as a feedback form or a paid workbook checkout) are separate from statement processing and are described in sections 6 and 10.
The application may use browser sessionStorage and localStorage to remember preferences (such as theme or category mappings) and to keep loaded statement and transaction data on your device so Reports and a page refresh can restore your session. That data stays on your device until you clear it with the site's clear action or your browser settings. Refreshing the page alone does not wipe it.
Spendstat offers an optional paid premium budget workbook. After successful payment through Stripe Checkout, you may download one filled Excel workbook built in your browser from the statement data already on your device. The listed price is US$8.73. Taxes or GST, if any, are as shown by Stripe at checkout.
The workbook is a digital good. Once the file has been delivered or successfully downloaded, payment is non-refundable. If payment succeeds but the download fails, contact us before requesting another charge so we can help you complete the download for that payment.
From time to time the home page may offer a share-and-win draw for a premium budgeting workbook. Entry is optional. No purchase is required. To enter, share Spendstat and submit the giveaway form with your name and email. One entry per email address. The prize is one premium workbook (or equivalent download entitlement). We will contact the winner by email. The draw is open internationally and is governed by New Zealand law. We may close, change, or cancel a draw if needed, and entries that appear automated or abusive may be removed.
